About

What We Do

The Anuncia Donecia Songsong Manglona Lab for Gender and Economic Equity at Penn State Law creates opportunities for Penn State Law students to learn about the past and present of gender and economic equity in law, while learning valuable legal skills. Students contribute to Manglona Lab's economic equity research initiatives, interviews, and litigation matters.

If you would like to work with the Manglona Lab, please contact the Manglona Lab's Director, Prof. Bethany Schols

Who We Are

The Manglona Lab at Penn State Law was founded in February 2021 with an endowed gift from hacker and entrepreneur Katie Moussouris, the daughter of Anuncia Donecia Songsong Manglona, through the Pay Equity Now Foundation. The gift honors the memory of her late mother, Anuncia Donecia Songsong Manglona, who faced her own struggles with gender and racial discrimination during her career as a Chamorro scientist working on in vitro fertilization and stem cell research.
